About Us

Worldwide non-profit charity organization

Jerry Yan( 言承旭 / Yan Cheng Xu) was born Liao Yangzhen in Taoyuan, Taiwan. He is of Atayal and Hakka descent, is a Taiwanese actor, model and singer. A former member of boy band group F4, Yan is known for his lead role as Daoming Si in the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and its sequel.

Yan became a model in 2000, after winning the 1998 TVBS Modelling Competition and Men's UNO modelling competition. He filmed advertisements and starred in music videos. He began his acting career in 2000, with a supporting role in Spicy Teacher.

He is also an ambassador for charitable organization World Vision Taiwan, he has an adopted child, Baldan, in Mongolia. He speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese, and was previously learning English to communicate better with fans around the world. He understands and speaks Japanese. Currently he is taking lessons in Japan to further his knowledge in that language.

He has always encouraged his fans to spend money on charity, and his fans, known as 旭迷, have done many charity works all around the world.

- Disaster Relief: He has also participated in disaster relief efforts, providing support to affected communities and individuals.

- Environmental Conservation: As an advocate for environmental conservation, Jerry Yan has supported initiatives promoting sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

Health Care

We led the massive worldwide effort that helped reduce newborn deaths by over 40% since 2000, saving 1.5 million babies each year. Still, an estimated 5.3 million young children die each year from entirely preventable diseases, such as pneumonia, malaria and diarrhea.

Primary Education

Save the Children, invests in schools, teachers and communities to bridge the global learning gap – because every child deserves the right to learn.

Residence Facilities

JERRYYAN FOUNDATION has retrieved 365 Tribe families from risk life / interior forest caves and are being rehabilitated in temporary shelter, solar light and health support since 2010. House is now important for safe living and life from wild animal and weather condition of heavy rain and snow.

Social Care

We provide essential services such as ablution, clothing and meals to then offer them life skills training, counselling and job-readiness programmes. We do not just address one need or issue but are committed to following our clients on the full journey towards reintegration and/or reunification.

This Chinese Farmer Has Been Dubbed A “99.99% Lookalike” Of Jay Chou

We've lost track of the number of Jay Chou lookalikes we've read about over the years. Apart from impersonators, there's a Physical 100 contestant and regular Joes like these street food vendors. There's even one here in Singapore. But we think this vegetable farmer from Quanzhou, China, has to be the closest doppelganger. Wei Wenkai, 41, also known as “Quanzhou’s Veggie Jay”, recently went viral for his uncanny resemblance to the Mandopop King.
